We worked with Rosie to create the Ayahuasca Collection. She was an absolute dream to work with and we are very proud of how the whole collection has come together.
Here's what she had to say about herself, art and the process!
Tell us a little about you?
I am originally from Gippsland in Victoria. I’ve just come to the end of a big trip travelling around the whole of Aus with my partner and a newly adopted doggo. Through studying a bachelor of graphic design I found collaging as a medium and have been in love with it ever since! I have a great love for colour and the energy it brings.
What is your style/medium of Art?
Collage! I’m obsessed. I love the freedom found in collaging. And juxtaposing different textures, colours and images together to create a whole new dimension.
How do you feel about the collaboration with Tanouk for a fabric print?
I am so excited!! It has been a pleasure working with the Tanouk girls, and I’m beyond pleased with seeing the end result. I have always been curious as to how my work would translate into clothing. And the girls have pulled it together better than I could have ever imagined!
Where did you get your inspiration from for your fabric print art?
The particular art used within the fabric was inspired by my love of contrasting colours and textures.
What do you like about Tanouk as a brand?
It is just so cool to see people bring their dreams to fruition. And these girls are just killing it. The skills and thought that has been placed into each design are so inspiring to see. I also love that they are so clever with their designs, making each one so timeless.
